Youth Pastor Announcement
The Youth Pastor Search Committee has selected a Youth Pastor nominee. His name and information will be announced on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008, at the end of the morning service. If you can’t make the service, his information will be posted on the First Baptist Church website that afternoon. The Youth Pastor Search team can’t announce his name yet, because he needs a chance to let his current church know about the move.
The Youth Pastor nominee and his family will be in town on Saturday, March 29th and Sunday, March 30th. On that Saturday, the church will have a fellowship at 5:00 where he will give his testimony and talk about his beliefs and his idea of youth ministry. We’re encouraging everybody in the Church to attend this fellowship, and then afterwards, we’re having a youth event at Celia Anthony’s house. This event is for all youth and youth parents. If you have any questions about the event, ask Ms. Celia or Matt Snow.
On Sunday morning, March 30th, at 9:00 am, the prospective youth pastor will teach our Youth Sunday School class. Then during the morning worship service, he will be presented to the Church by Bro. Stan.
